QWhat is Family Jewellery?
AUnique jewellery designs where each family
member is represented by their birthstone. Names and/or dates may be engraved on selected styles.
QIs there an additional charge for engraving?
AEngraving is only available
on select styles as shown, at no additional cost. Please note that the style of font can not be changed.
QWhat are Daughter's rings?
ADaughter's rings are three stone rings where
the centre birthstone represents the Daughter's birth month. The two birthstones on either side represent the birth
month of the Mother and Father. For single parent families, a two stone ring is available - one gemstone representing
the Daughter and one the parent. Select Family Jewellery rings are also available with the option of ordering only
two birth stones. Names and/or dates may be engraved on selected styles up to the maximum name/date combination.
QWhat is a Sweetheart or Couples ring?
AThis is a ring that has been specifically designed
to hold two birthstones, each to represent the birth month of the couple in love. The ring can be further personalized by
engraving names and/or dates.
To commemorate this special commitment that two people share, select Family Jewellery rings have also been designed with the option of ordering two stones. Names and/or dates may be engraved on selected styles up to the maximum name/date combination.

QAre all styles available in 10kt and 14kt gold?
AFamily Jewellery items are available in yellow or white gold
with the exception of the family bracelets which are available in yellow gold only.

QAre Family Jewellery items available with synthetic or genuine birthstones?
AYes, however, for warranty and integrity purposes
all styles must be ordered with either ALL genuine or ALL synthetic birthstones. If the style selected requires birth
months that are represented by diamond*, emerald and/or ruby, additional charges will apply.

QWhen ordering a personalized Family Jewellery
style do I have to use names and is there a character limit?
A A character limit does apply and personalization
can be letters, numbers or symbols (such as periods and dashes). Spaces count as characters. Personalized Family
Jewellery styles may also be ordered without the personalization.
QWhen ordering a Name Jewellery style, are symbols
or characters available?
ANo - only letters are available and a character
limit applies to each style.
QWhat length of chain is available for family pendants
and name necklaces, and are there any additional charges?
AA Family Jewellery pendant can be ordered with an
18 or 20 inch length chain.
Name Jewellery necklaces can be ordered in a total length (including the name) of 16, 18 or 20 inches.
The difference in gold (or silver) is nominal between the available lengths; therefore the price has been averaged.

QAre extra links (with or without stones, engraveable and/or non-engraveable) available for Family Jewellery bracelets?
AAdditional links are available for style 50011 only,
with or without stones and/or names. A Remake Fee applies to each link with a stone (and name) added onto the standard length
of approximately 7.25 inches. Filigree links without stones or names are available at additional cost.
QCan a stone/name be added to a Family Jewellery item
at a later date?
AA stone or name may be added up to the maximum stone or
name combination for the style in question. A stone or name can not be added to the existing item; a new item will be made.
The original Family Jewellery item must be shipped to Personalized Gems and will not be returned. A charge to remake
the item applies and does not include a genuine diamond*, emerald or ruby. These gemstones are available at an additional charge.

QCan a ring be resized?
AYes. However, if the ring has not recently been purchased,
there will be a sizing charge to size the ring down or up to a maximum size of 8.25. If the size required is 8.5 or larger
(to the maximum size 12) there will be an additional charge due to the amount of gold that is added.
If the item is a new order, an Extended Size Charge is applicable for ring sizes of 8.5 to 12.

QCan a Family Jewellery or Name Jewellery item be returned for repair?
AYes, however, there will be a repair charge depending upon the type of repair required.
Note: there is a possibility that the repair may require Personalized Gems to remake the item rather than simply repair it: the original item may not be available for return.

QCan a replacement or single Name Jewellery earring be ordered?
AEarrings are not sold separately; they are only available as a pair.
QHow long will it take to receive an order?
APlease allow 7 - 10 business days (i.e. Monday to Friday) for in-store
receipt, from the business day that Personalized Gems receives the order from the store.
QWhat are the hours of operation?
AThe standard hours of operation at
Personalized Gems are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm EST. However, Customer Service hours of operation for store orders
will be extended for Mother's Day and Christmas peak ordering periods.
